Since Valentine’s Day, we have been inundated with requests for consultations, information on our wedding services and firm bookings right up to the Autumn. It is definitely going to be a busy year!
We are off to some new venues this year – the very summery Painshill Park down in Surrey, the glorious and elegant Mandarin Oriental in Knightsbridge and the beautiful Westwood Park in Essex and lots more
Shooting for the stars . . .
We will also be working with some exciting photographers and wedding planners on styling shoots this Spring – more details to come soon
But for now a little taste of a two part shoot that we did with Helen Carter and Fiona Kelly. This has appeared on both Whimsical Wonderland Weddings inspirational site – yes we were hopping around with excitement - AND Bride’s Cafe
And now, most heart stopping of all, it will be featured in its entirety in the May/June edition of the must-read Wedding Flowers magazine!
We have similar styling shoots lined up for this year, bringing you all kinds of inspirational wedding, ceremony and reception ideas to take and make your own – we don’t mind really. But if you need a hand bringing any of them to life – you know where we are!
I’ve worked with some wonderful photographers over the last few years. Many of whom have kindly allowed me to show their beautiful work on this site and where possible I like to give a link back to their sites. Although most of the shots I have show the flowers I provided for the weddings, I can vouch for the fact that the people involved come out pretty good too!
So if you are looking for a good, reliable, creative, fun photographer to capture the best day of your life, to start with, check this lot out . . .

Now it is full steam ahead planning and scheduling for what looks like a busy year. We have a lot of weddings on the books already, many consultations lined up and some new venues on board too – more of which later. I’m planning to do some mini-bios with photos of a couple of new venues where we will be working during the next few months so watch this space!
And I’m planning to showcase some more weddings from 2011 as soon as I get the photos through from those busy, busy togs! Here is just a taster of what we have been up to . . .
One of our main venues, the spectacular One Whitehall Place, is holding an Wedding Open Day next Sunday 28th February.
www.guoman.co.uk
Situated just off the Embankment on Whitehall Place, next door to The Royal Horseguards Hotel, the venue has a Grade 1 Listed facade, a magnificent sweeping marble staircase, beautiful high-ceilinged rooms and great views over the Thames from the garden terrace – all of which provide a stunning backdrop to any wedding.

We will be dressing the main Gladstone Library ready for a wedding party and aiming to give you lots of ideas for your own wedding flowers.
So if you would like some advice or guidance, to check out the
venue or just come and have a chat, make contact with Carmel Mulkeen, the Weddings Manager at One Whitehall Place, here and let her know you’d like to come.
Come and talk to us about your plans, flower needs and ideas and bring us photos of your dress – we love to look at dresses!
You can look through our portfolios, see the wedding flowers we have made up and practise with the wedding bouquets we will have on show.
Come and indulge in a wedding day to remember and let us help you to make your wedding day even better
